Can you believe how many plays this guy is making in practice? Unreal. Sounds like he's a very intelligent young man and is picking things up very quickly.

He will play this year... and a lot IMO. In fact, I think right now he's probably running #3 on the depth chart behind Hamilton and Sumrall.

We may not get the 4 and 5 star recruits, but the ones we do get seem to catch on quickly and have football "smarts". I like it!

He was plain out of position in HS, most Qb's in HS are the teams best athletes.

So true. Darks first made his varsity presence known as a hard hitting DB as a soph and got pressed into service at WR in state semi-final playoffs due to injuries at that position.

Next year he moved to QB due to athletic ability and lack of a better true QB on the team. An early season injury got him off to a slow start.

Senior year the unfortunate young man who could have played QB and allowed Darks to play WR and DB was seriously injured in the first game and Darks , also injured on the same play, ended up playing starting QB and starting DB, playing way too many snaps in too many games.

Again...he's got really good football smarts, good speed, quickness. He just needs add some muscle, stay healthy for football and make sure he understands that he is in SCHOOL and is expected to be a student as well.

Can't wait to see how he progresses. His success so far makes me feel even worse for his classmate and friend Chase Harper who is also an awesome athlete and a really good kid. I really don't want to see Chase drop into some JC black hole and disappear.

I wasn't expecting Darks and Range to be making big plays already. I know it is only practice, but the receiving corps looks solid.
