Thought they got too passive the end of regulation, too narrow of lead to run clock like they were. No real qualms in OT though.

This is why Prohm needs to be gone this year. Due to COVID slashing budgets, there are going to be a lot fewer coaching vacancies at the Power 5 level. Meaning ISU will likely have its pick for any coach it wants. DeVries isn’t some national rising star. I doubt most following basketball outside of Iowa have ever heard his name before.

When your team is undefeated on Jan 31 - every Athletic Director in the country is aware of it.
It doesn't matter if fans aren't aware of Drake's success, the AD's are the guys who do the hiring. They never know when they will have to replace their coaches, so they keep track of potential head coaches pretty closely.

One minute to go. Drake leads by one. Their closest game of the season so far.

Maybe in the end. But they were down by 15 at half against Mo State last week and had to come back. Won by 6 or 8.

I've watched a few games. This team seems to have that mental toughness we saw in 2000. Yes, the talent level is different but they have tough minded guards that will get you a solid opportunity and the defense is really aggressive and sound.

I'd pull for Drake in the NCAA tournament, which is not something I have, or would ever do for UNI.
