Dan Hurley turns down the Lakers

They should get Jay Wright if they wanna win

If you’re a young, developing team, it’s worth a risk on a hugely successful college coach. But they pretty clearly believe they are hitting the championship window for their core group. Bringing in someone who has never been an NBA coach, especially one that only coached HIS system in college, would be a baffling choice.

I only say that because Brunson, Hart, Bridges were all on Villanova together under Jay Wright. Definitely a risk but the fit for the players they have is off the charts

Yeah, that’s another case for cutting with Thibs before he wears all the talent down to dust. I still think Fred could have had more success with the Bulls if you picked a random person off the street to be GM.

Wright has reportedly turned them down. As have Jason Kidd, Udoka (Rockets), Finch (T-Wolves), and Quin Synder. Getting kinda interesting.

F it. Give me 5M a year for 5 years and I’ll do it.

I don't understand why teams want Jason Kidd for a coach so bad. He hasn't really won that much for teams to consider giving up draft picks to get him.
