Is Cyclone TV is offered on Dish and DirectTV? Will be in CR tomorrow, can't remember if dad-in-law has Dish or Direct, it's one or the other, but want to watch the game. Anyone?

No disrespect but do people seriously believe a worldwide satellite provider would carry Cyclones TV? I mean, seriously? How are people still asking this question?

Cyclone TV is showing the Paul Rhoads Show after the UNI game two years ago. It is nice to see the highlights, but kind of strange to listen to John Walters interview CPR. Steele Jantz really came through in that game. The TD throw to Lenz was beautiful. Nice to see Osemele again doing his work for us.

Never used satellite service but thought Direct at least offered local/neighboring channels in local markets. Sorry to offend. Will get my subscription to Digital Geekdom Monthly ASAP.

Directv in tbe Minneapolis mkt used to offer cyclone games when they were availabe, but you had to have a sports pac,and you needed to search around for the correct channel (though by mid season you could usually predict the correct channel). I'm now dealing with Dishnetwork. It looks by the grids that theres no iowa game, and no uni at isu game scheduled anywhere.

Iowa: FoxSports 1: 150/398 on Dish I think
UNI: Not available on television without either Mediacom or hooking up a computer/tablet with Cyclones.tv.

The better question is - What was Iowa State thinking doing a television deal that requires anyone outside of the state to watch on an F-ing computer?

Remember when certain games didn't have a feed outside the stadium? Remember how awesome that was? Me too.

It's called making money on inventory someone else doesn't want the risk of. Every other school in the Big 12 not named Texas has a digital network just like we do. Do you prefer to not watch the games?

ISU wants to get Cyclones.tv to as many Cyclones as possible. There is no way national TV providers such as Dish or Directv pick it up. Mediacom is our last and only option and they want to use Cyclones.tv as leverage to draw more Cyclone fans to Mediacom so they won't allow other providers to simulcast it, not even syndicate some of its programs. Hence why Cyclones.tv is exclusive to Mediacom or you pay the small $80 annual fee then you have everything, just hook up to a TV using an HDMI cable and you're golden. Hope this clears things up!

I live out of state and haven't had a tv in 5years. I am very thankful I get the opportunity to watch these games. Soon enough all shows movies and sporting events will go through the web anyway.
