I love that our first game is at the end of day 2. That is by far the best scenario for max enjoyment. Going to be a fun couple days of ball.

I don't remember where I read it (on The Athletic maybe), but both LSU and our defensive metrics haven't been as good when you look at games later in the year (the article was making the case for the over in our game). So while LSU has really good defensive metrics on the season they haven't been playing defense like a Texas Tech or Oklahoma St. recently and have been more of a really good not elite defense.
