I would say it was solid last year, but would love to see some growth this season with it.

They do it for every big 12 team over any sport. I remember them making one over Jack Trice last year

Because he needs matches. If he can’t wrestle our backups w/o injury what you think going to happen in duals/tournaments? Just because you have AA 4x doesn’t mean you can just walk on the mat and win. If he wants to win a title he has to train like he is going to win a title.
Yeah, I agree train in the room with purpose and wrestle your matches in competition. I guess his pitch count includes a match against Carter in wrestle offs and not in a dual competition down the road, when he needs to be on the mat more.
You act like they don’t wrestle live in practice. You can change the word wrestle off to practice, what’s the difference.
I just feel like it's an extra match early season that doesn't need to happen if he truly is on a pitch count.
