Wasn't sure where to post this..I also put the link in the Session 1/NCAA thread. Great tribute to a great man!
Never really went back to look or realize how good his tournament was to wrestle back for 3rd. He has some all time tournaments
Franek was tough. Hard to score on. He never beat DC but there were several close matches. I think Caliendo was at NDSU at the same time.
I'm keeping my koolaid in the fridge right now but damn is it tempting to pull out and pour a glass
Man, I wonder if ASU spends on par with ISU every year. Yikes for them if so.
They have ramped up their fundraising a lot from the sounds of it
Hopefully that's the case. It would be nice to see a stronger ASU in the conference.
Is this sans NIL or does it include wrestler's salaries? I wonder how it's figure for 2025 since the rules changed recently. Plus, wrestling NIL wasn't wrapped up into the foundation so maybe that changes things too. Either way, nice to see us in the top ten to show we're competitive, but also overperforming that ranking in actual placement. This year too hopefully!
