Cyclone Friendly Bars in the Twin Cities

Well done Boxster, I always get e-mails from the Twin Cities ISUAA. This guy above must not have signed up properly and is just guessing.

Stay tuned, hopefully we can get some more gamewatch parties scheduled this fall. Tough to plan right now for any advance mailing since after Connecticut the next six games do not have announced game times or TV coverage.

I also expect that we will have a re-emergence of basketball gamewatches with Hoiberg's promising squad. At least we have pretty complete times and TV options already announced. Besides, I have some door prizes for basketball that include a couple of mini-basketballs signed by The Mayor.

FAIL

How many events does the Alumni Association of the Twin Cities have coming up? NONE!!!

The last three games of the year will be on TV and there are no gamewatches set up.

Go to Senser's any other Saturday and there are a handful of ISU fans. We need to take over a bar every weekend, especially considering this is (I was told a few years ago) the largest Alumni Association chapter outside the state of Iowa.

Go ahead and pat each other on the back, but the fact is that this chapter has needed to be more active for quite some time.

Don't remember any whining complainer at our summer events so I guess you did not attend them. Do us all a favor and do not attend any.

Dude, seriously? You do realize these are ran by volunteers, right? What have you done to help increase the events? If your not out there spending your freetime helping organize these events, then you have no room to rant and complain about the lack of events. And regarding the last 3 games of the year...THERE THE LAST 3 GAMES OF THE YEAR...why does it matter that there not on the calendar now? They'll show up with the time comes to hold the event! Gesh!
