I simply meant that the players have plenty of reason for confidence in themselves. I wasn’t addressing whether or not they have confidence they can beat that particular team.

I apologize for not being clearer.

For that matter, Iowa may be “brimming with confidence” that they can beat us…or they may not. In either case, I think our players confidence in themselves and their teammates may trump that.

After all, I do remember when Iowa’s fifteen game win streak was broken. That Cyclone team had confidence in themselves.

In Iowa's current streak, the big difference is fundamentals in key moments and Iowa's been better while ISU has had the yips.

Last year's game unraveled when those 'yips' happened all within a span of minutes.
