Cracks in the B1G?

I think our schedule last year was tougher as well. You guys missed the three best teams in the Big 12 other than ISU last year. Happens again this year, there are only two other ranked teams in the Big 12 and you guys miss them both. We play two conference opponents currently ranked in the top-6 and four that are ranked.

It’s all pretty fluid. Wouldn’t be shocked if either or both of BYU and TCU were ranked when we play them. Same goes for ASU but they gotta win @ Baylor tomorrow before that happens.

We played Tech last year when they weren’t very good (and lost). Now we don’t play them and they’re good. It’s random.

That’s the way it panned out, but going into the year Utah was supposed to be much better

The Big 12 preseason poll last year had Iowa State playing the following top half teams:

#1 Utah
#2 KSU
#4 Kansas
#7 WVU
#8 UCF

So ISU was scheduled to play 5 of the 7 available top half teams (ISU was picked 6th) including 3 of the top 4.
