Went and got some Endust for Electronics from Target. Used it on the fan area. Tried turning on the laptop and got this message. Is this after you blew it
Um, putting it in the microwave for 43 seconds will melt/fry/**** everything up.put it in the microwave for 43 seconds. should do the trick
Just make sure you take it out when the popping slows down or you'll burn it.Use the popcorn button.

Well you could have told him that first!!Did you blow it directly into the fan? If you did that, you might've ****ed up the bearings and some fans have a sensor when that goes out giving you that message. Needs to be replaced I think.

Bought it in early summer 2012.My bad...
Good news is that it isn't expensive to replace. Also, you aren't the first to **** up a fan that way, even IT pros do it sometimes. Those bearings are rated for a certain speed and depending on the air can/compressor you can exceed that and **** up the bearings. Bad news is that I probably wouldn't even let it run more than 10min at a time.
An alternative to replacing the fan is this guy: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...&tag=majeslynxtech-20&linkId=66D2YNYW47LUKYTL but you'll need that everywhere you have the laptop. Though it is a light, cheap, and easy "solution".
Fans are the most common thing to go first in laptops so don't feel bad. How old is this laptop anyway?
