I'd be very happy with 10-8 at this point, which means 9-9 or 8-10 is more likely. We will be on the bubble. Hope I'm wrong but we have holes.

We are better defensively, but Iowa and Drake just lit up our defense. and Prohm said something to the effect that our defensive energy and effort are slipping some.
I sincerely hope you are right! I hate the thought of us drifting back to mediocrity. If you are wrong though, there will be a lot of lol'ing at your overconfident posts.

Not disagreeing with you, but percentage wise, what's your confidence that this is a tournament team? Just curious.
Completely agree with the saying, think the % is a tad high. Only because of their lack of real quality win in the non con, and being unranked. I think they gotta get to 10 wins to get on the bubble. Last couple years they had the advantage of being ranked highly into the conference. They obviously won't have that now.
This team doesn't have Royce though or any player in the frontcourt that even has a fraction of his potential.
Cytwins is in for a huge reality check come conference play.
And this team is significantly better defensively than Royces team that GASP lost at Drake. I'm still waiting for someone to answer if we've ever had a tournament team lose four times in one season at home
I'm not sure if any tournament team has lost 4 at Hilton, but that stat will be pointless if this team loses 3 or 4 more at Hilton, and misses the tournament.
You don't think this team will make the tournament? Defending ball screens for this team has been light years better than anything we've seen in a while
No, I don't think this team makes the tournament. And that pains me to say. I think it will be close though. Depends on how many bubble busters win their conf tourneys, etc.
I guess I just don't know why someone would think this isn't a tournament team. The Big 12 will help our RPI a ton and Hilton is Hilton
