Its just annoying hearing about mighty Oklahoma in the media then seeing an empty court. I'd be more satisfied with a lost if it was packed and ruckus in there. Bad representation of B12 bball.

That's because it's basketball. The sport to play when it's too cold to play football.

I think KU and ISU have the only fanbases in the conference that give a **** about basketball. Purely based on fan support at their own arenas. OU had a top 10 team visiting on a Saturday with no weather issues and they were maybe at 50% capacity.

Kansas State does as well.

Weak thread...they beat us so make yourself feel better because of lack of fans at the game.

How the heck to you get that outta this? The whole time I was watching I kept thinking how made this makes the Big12 look and also wonder how long Kruger would put up with this before bolting to a school that cares about BB.

Honestly if we had to compete with a professional organization for basketball attendance our attendance would be as good as it is. It helps not having any pro sports in Iowa.
I was just going to say that I think fan support dipped when they got an NBA team.

Did you notice Baylor's crowd. There going to have to move the tarp to the BB arena.

I believe the OU vs ISU attendance today was around 6,400, Around 10K tickets sold.

I think is the OKC Thunder effect, especially given Norman's proximity to OKC. There were $7 tickets available for the KU game on Wednesday. OSU's attendance dropped off too.
I think that is a copout. Do you really think if DSM got a NBA team Cyclone fans or Hawk fans would forget about their teams and go to the NBA games. In about every Big 10 market there is an NBA team yet their fans show up.
