Cockiness

Some of you people say some really stupid stuff

I agree and number one on the list is that Im a Troll......I sat in JTS when nobody else would aka the criner and walden years plus all the non winning Danny Mac years......

The one thing that makes me a clone fan is that my family went to Iowa State...Bash on boys because all the sunshine and roses wont make this year any better......

Every P5 mens basketball team has guys that are cocky and talk alot of **** the team that had Georges, Kane, Hogue, and Ejim was one of the best trash talking teams we ever had. If you look up the word Cocky in the dictionary Chris Babb's picture can be seen right beside it. Alot of people I have heard or read make their 2 cents be known about this conversation act like it is such an unheard of thing for a player at ISU do it. Get real people.

Ejim and Kane doing what they did best besides play ball.

Royce telling Kentucky he was the best ******* player on the floor.

Chris Babb always had a slap in the opponents face with his trademark gotta eat hand gesture as seen in this video.

Difference in being that Ejim and Kane had already done some nice things that season, nd who knows what kind of report him and KU's players, anyone can be a bit cocky when they go coast to coast and dunk on a bunch of 1st rounders, and IIRC the 'gotta eat' thing was something the players did toward one another post-play.

Tinsley's throat slash was a bit much imo, but the guy had just rung up an upstart UCLA team and there's probably a little leighway there when someone has a nickname at Rutger park.

Bowie took care of his, but I also think Morris' Iowa game comments were just plain stupid since ISU hadn't really done anything, and continued to show very little at Iowa, and he continued to talk.

People are seriously mad about this?

Eh, wasn't this celebrated as hilariously awesome?

People like bravado when the team is awesome and the fans feel full of bravado.

I never liked Niang's kiss personally, and the '14-15 team did a lot of talking and flopped, but in his defense it was after the game was in hand at the in-state rival's house, and it was toward the student section full of Hawk fans that were likely doing much worse things besides blowing kisses. He did a bit of trolling of Hawk fans but I wouldn't call any of it offensive or saying much aside from a small jab.

IIRC Melvin Ejim was responding to racial slurs being yelled at him. If that were the case, that was absolutely OK as far as I'm concerned. I do remember his antics toward the crowd at KSU that season looking pretty bad since it was a game they were getting beat.

I can't believe a bunch of white bred morons would use a racial slur. jimlad
