Crap, I’m still not fully accustomed to the new 16 set up. My bad.

7-0 keeps Campbell and Heacock invested in our program as much as the money. They’ll agree to lesser contracts knowing they have a chance to win games here. Coaches hate losing

With the payments coming to the players right around the corner we will need boosters to bump his pay. I don’t see it coming from athletic dept funds. Just the reality we are in

Let's be honest, they're all overpaid. CMC is grossly underpaid when compared to his peers though. Fortunately, he is quite comfortable financially and despite being able to earn more, really has no need to. In the past he has asked for more competitive coordinator salaries rather than his own. He is a different breed, and I believe is more likely to walk away from the ever-increasingly seedy world of college football rather than go somewhere else. If you insist they should pay the man, write a million dollar check so they can afford to.

It'll be interesting to see where all the money is going to come from. 22 million in athletes salaries, top 10 teams in FB,MBB,WBB.

Expense Cuts:
Minimal to no facility upgrades (cutting both immediate spending and future debt service loads)
Regionally-focused scheduling for some Olympic sports (think more bus, less plane)
Flat salaries for non-coaching personnel (hopefully no layoffs)

Revenue Adds:
Annual JTS concert
CyTown (3-4 years away)

Lance Leipold is ROBBING Kansas. Wow

He's REALLY leveraged interest from other schools into a huge pay day that Campbell hasn't. I can understand why Kansas had to do it and I don't necessarily buy the notion that we can continue to underpay Campbell and his staff and keep him happy, but I appreciate that we haven't been fleeced like Kansas was.

The way this season is going, we’d better pay Mouser!
I know Mouser somewhat personally. He will never leave Campbell for an OC spot somewhere else. He’s been with him since the Toledo days and is loyal as all get out. I don’t know this for sure but I would assume if he ever wants a head coach spot and got an opportunity then I could see him going elsewhere.

Really wonder if some of these coaches deliberately stop giving a **** after a huge contract with a massive buyout. Scott Frost, Mike Norvell, etc.

I pretty much see CMC getting a significant raise and extension this year. Its been a couple years, and the way we are playing we have to give hime one.

My guess though he negotiates for a bump for his assistance too.

I feel like we add a couple years at least to his contract, and bump him by $1-1.5M and also give $.5-1M to his assistants. Not sure we have the money but we have to do it. I think we have him cheap at this point, esp. with him being here so long.

I could see him taking a smaller bump to give more to his assistants, as he has in the past. But the final amount he gets will really depend on how we finish out.

The AD is overachieving. The other shoe has to drop and that’s more financial support from the fan base. If you are a Fanatic on the sidelines, time to step up and support the AD to maintain success.

I think if we win 10 or 11 games this year you have to find a way to move him north of $5.2 million.
