Coach's poll up to 12

Watched the ranked teams shrink from 7 to 4 as we play each other. When people ask why you have RPI in the committee room over ap/coaches polls, that's why.

WHY on God's green earth is Utah ahead of us?!

It's not that outrageous; Utah's a very good team. There isn't anything they do poorly...they shoot well, they score, they rebound, they have very solid defense, they're just a good, well-rounded team. The only knock against them is that they haven't beaten anybody that would be considered a "signature win", but they've absolutely destroyed most teams they've played (with their only losses coming against ranked teams on the road).

Also, they didn't lose to South Carolina.

My real question, though -- shouldn't it be coaches' ??

I could be either way, a poll made up of coaches or a poll that belongs to the coaches (coaches'). Because USA Today puts out the poll it makes more sense for it to be Coaches Poll because the coaches don't have control/ownership of it, they only have been polled by someone else.

Pretty much what I thought. Since "poll" is really more important that "coaches", I would assign coaches as an adjective. "We're talking about the poll." "Which poll?" "The coaches poll."
