Scheelhaase all the way. Let him learn on the job. The man has two years under Sean McVay and is gonna be on everyone’s wish list in a few years. Grab him now.
So we can we right back in the same place? He’d leave here is nanosecond for a bigger program

Going to be really hard to get anyone here that's worth a dang and then even harder to get them to stay. This is about a lack of adequate funding from Iowa State. That's not changing anytime soon.

What about the guy who coaches the STL Battlehawks? I've heard he's had some success.

Ryan Grubb (Bama OC) is from Kingsley, IA and went to Buena Vista.

Tim Polasek - NDSU Head Coach
Ryan Grubb is the only name I feel like could be an upgrade. But would he even consider it????

I’m mean it’s cold enough he’ll did freeze over here this week

Need to consider Jason Candle at Toledo
  • He nearly came w/Campbell back in 2015, but was offered the HC job at Toledo, which he has held ever since
  • Overall record is 81-44
  • Toledo was bowl eligible each year under Candle and consistently wins or finishes near the top in the MAC
  • Toledo's recruiting rankings routinely lead the MAC and were ranked 67, 72 and 68 the last three years per 247 Sports. This tells me he can recruit the same type of kids CMC liked to recruit and develop.
  • This year's Toledo team, per teamrankings.com:
    • 25th in overall yards per play
    • 38th in overall points per play
    • 3rd in defensive yards and points per play (behind only Ohio St and Texas Tech)
Someone's gotta' give Candle a call.....

This might be just me but I would only want a coach with ties to Campbell if it saved players from leaving. Otherwise I want to completely cut ties.
