the idea of AB being our next coach is intriguing to me. starting to grow on me a bitI mean, aside from him being Rocco's dad, he has had pretty good success coaching in STL. He was in the running to be WVU's next coach.

First call is Nate.
Second call should be Sean Lewis
Third Call should be Jason Eck
Fourth call and a last resort would be Candle.
Honest question— does this work out well historically? Keeping the assistant to keep the current team. I feel like this fails more than it works out if the new guy isn’t truly ready or good enough to be the head coach.I could see Mouser in an attempt to keep players and commits.
I love Anthony but that would be a pretty short sighted choice. Navigating the current landscape of college football is a way way different and bigger job than coaching in the UFL.I mean, aside from him being Rocco's dad, he has had pretty good success coaching in STL. He was in the running to be WVU's next coach.

Why would we go after Sean Lewis. He has had two winning season in 8 as a head football coach. I am confused. Our program would die if a coach had that record with us.
He was ready to put Otz in his first HC position. If he thinks Scheelhase is ready, JP will pull the trigger.Jamie will want someone with a head coaching track record. He's been down the assistant route. And in this era with all the attrition that goes with a coaching change, the ability to have players and staff follow you is important.
Paul Chryst > Mouser or Woodley or some other names I’ve seen tossedPaul Chryst?!? did I miss the jimlad?
Unlikely. He had no interest in PSU. He is 100% an NFL guy and admits he has few college coaching connections. Would have a very hard time building a staff.Brian Daboll?
Really ****** sucks that Penn State ****** up all their other options throughout this season long coaching search and we are the ones who get ****** for it. I know Campbell wouldn't have left during the season but it would have been better for us if he had.It really sucks this happened right after signing day.
