Has to be hard when you are on break from school and want to see your high school friends but home is somewhere else. We get one of my sons friends staying here frequently because his parents moved right after he graduated. At least she still has some family in Ames.
Yes, judge the family's opinion based on one picture in which a photographer is looking for a moment like that. Who do you know that looks happy all of the time?

I have a source. A friend of mine who collects a paycheck from the university. No matter how much I tell him this means he should know everything that's going on in the athletic department, he doesn't seem to know ****. I need a new friend.
Ha, I've got multiple sources. In fact, I get at least a call every year by a different source who are students in the know. I've just never got to the point of actually asking them what they know since they always seem to be more concerned first with small talk and asking for money. Now, if only I had any money.... Guess you gotta pay to play.

That Biff Hammer guy that's on the Murph and Andy show mentioned Dixon as a coach he thought ISU should go after. I wonder if that got his name inserted into the rumor mill. Hell of a coach, but seems like a bad fit if we want to stay with something close to hoiball. Interesting that he was an assistant at Pitt before taking over as the head coach with no head coaching experience. Guess that can work on occasion.
