If Georgetown stays in the family, Charlotte Hornets assistant coach Patrick Ewing makes the most sense. If outside, Hoyas should make a run at Harvard's Tommy Amaker.

Ewing is the new man in at Georgetown. Good for him. He's been toiling as an assistant coach for a long time now. He's earned a shot as a head coach. Big rebuild job in front of him.

Kinda wonder if Hoiberg is going to be up there as one of the more successful former players to take over their old program.
Boeheim, Lon Kruger, Huggins, and Chris Mack immediately come to mind.
Not sure if Jamie will get TCU consistently to the NCAAs but I do think they can sustain an opportunity to.
