Nope, his son.Is that Bob Huggins' psychotic grandfather from the mountains of WV?
We’ll see.The fanbase was split down the middle on both Bruce and Frank. Love or hate. It was an odd time. After missing the tournament last year, most everyone thought it was time for a change though.
Tang has put all that angst to closure, thankfully.
I've never seen a coach reach out the way he has to students and the fanbase. He's like the Roadrunner in that way, he's everywhere. But proof of his mettle will be on the court. We'll see. He was my first choice, for sure.
I've never really had an opinion one way or another on Bruce Weber, other than I didn't dislike him. I also don't think I've ever heard him speak (can't remember anyway). Here is a clip of his resignation statement. It's pretty long. I just listened to the first 3-4 minutes.Bruce is 65 now. The stress of competing had clearly gotten to him with all the losing.
Quirky but always a gentleman who loathed cheaters. He never did anything wrong other than attack the court like he was coaching AAU.
I'm glad for him. Always admire his ethics. He won more championships at K-State than anyone dating back to Jack Hartman in the 80s. And he's a good dude.
Not sure how he'll do on TV though. Thought Knight would be great. He wasn't. Al was the best. Fran is very good.
This is cool.
He's had some well-documented issues with his voice since childhood. I like when networks are brave enough to give work to people with valuable insights who sound (or look) a little different. It seems like there are a lot of bland, cookie-cutter announcers out there.
So much so that you came in thread AND posted about not caring.Thought maybe I would care....had to google him to make sure I knew who he was.....Nope don't care.
Well I thought it was about ISU BBall so then I had to google him to see how the KSU coach was related to ISU baskeball. When I did, I see no relation, so this should not be in the ISU bball forum but maybe in the Big 12 forum. So much so that you came in thread AND posted about not caring.
You are three paragraphs into not caring.Well I thought it was about ISU BBall so then I had to google him to see how the KSU coach was related to ISU baskeball. When I did, I see no relation, so this should not be in the ISU bball forum but maybe in the Big 12 forum.
Its just another @surly thread that they start for every tweet they read. Instead of adding it to a conversation already on the subject. Or maybe not even posting, on a Cyclone board but maybe a purple kansas board where people might care.
But apparently saying I dont care about what the former purple kitty basketball coach is doing with his time, with regard to the ISU bball forum, it made some people butt hurt enough to get a few dumbs and you saying that coming in and saying I dont care about what the Former KSU bball coach is doing means I do care apparently?
