Coach Rogers Introductory Press Conference

I feel we'll get less coach speak from rogers
Didn't think I would cry in an introductory press conference, but here we are.
Exactly. Is Pollard perfect.....no. But considering the lack of funding we have had over the years relative to other P4 schools, our athletics performance since Pollard has been here is nothing short of amazing. Even the non-major sports have been really good. I live in the heart of Big10 country, and I wear my ISU gear with pride. My friends are a scattering of Buckeye, Illini, Boilermaker, Hoosier, and Badger fans, and they have given me constant positive comments over the years of how impressed they are with ISU athletic teams and how ISU is always "pretty darn good in everything". Can you imagine if our funding was even just average?

I'd like to hear his vision about what type of offense and defense he prefers to play.
Rogers seems VERY sincere and down to earth.
CMC did want to be here until he wanted to be at Penn State.
I’d like to hear his opinion on punted balls bouncing off our players multiple times a year……for it or against it?

Can't lie, I'm chuckling at the optics of the suicide hotline cycling through on the graphics in the background.
Rogers is well-spoken, seems to have good judgment and has great passion and belief. He is winning the press conference. Makes me stoked for Cyclone Football!! Hope our players give him a chance!!
