That’s good. I certainly think he could play a fantastic point forward role if he worked on his handles. He is an elite passer for a big man and would cause massive matchup issues if he recognized backside doubles faster and had a tighter dribble.

It was more than a little frustrating watching the ball get stolen while he continued to pound the rock with a double or sometimes a triple team.

When you have a night where your opponent gets super hot behind the arc, you've run into a buzz saw. When you see this pattern in multiple games, you've allowed it to happen. The fact of the matter is that in the latter half of the season, our parameter defense was softer. Whether that is because our opponents adjusted and we didn't or if it's because we played softer; I don't know. But it is a fact.

Some of this loss is on TJ, too. How long did he let Miss go on a run without calling a timeout, in the first half? Also, when he saw the refs were allowing a super aggressive game, why didn't he adjust our play? And why did he keep the green light on Milan when he was clearly having an off night?

They hit some tough shots, but there were multiple times when there were defensive breakdowns that led to wide open threes, even from Pedulla. Some of those were defensive lapses in the half court, but some of those looks were due to turnovers on the offensive end and lots of missed shots that led to transition.

The problem with defending the three, is if you give up some open looks and they go down, the contested ones seem to start falling when the opposing shooters start feeling it.

Good take!! We have been a top 10 offense all year and one of the highest scoring teams in the country!! Blew out the #1 team in the country on their floor, but let’s get rid of one of the assistant coaches!! Basketball savant here
