He'll do better than he did here, just because he'll have more talent to work with.
However, IMO, he won't do good enough to stick around long. Auburn is used to consistently being a top 10 program and fighting for BCS bowls every year. When Chizik wins 5 or 6 games his first two years there, they will show him the door. Teams like Alabama, Florida, Georgia, LSU, etc will beat Auburn like a drum for years to come.... and Auburn fans will not be happy about it.
Sure Chizik is getting paid better and will coach better athletes, but the expectation level just went WAY up for him. At ISU, we had the patience to put up with a few down years to wait for the good times ahead. At Auburn they will have no such patience Gene. Good luck!
