There are those in the Big 12 that dont have respect for Rhoads and think his hire is a joke, heck some are ISU fans. Its just the way things go.

He'll do better than he did here, just because he'll have more talent to work with.
However, IMO, he won't do good enough to stick around long. Auburn is used to consistently being a top 10 program and fighting for BCS bowls every year. When Chizik wins 5 or 6 games his first two years there, they will show him the door. Teams like Alabama, Florida, Georgia, LSU, etc will beat Auburn like a drum for years to come.... and Auburn fans will not be happy about it.
Sure Chizik is getting paid better and will coach better athletes, but the expectation level just went WAY up for him. At ISU, we had the patience to put up with a few down years to wait for the good times ahead. At Auburn they will have no such patience Gene. Good luck!

Tubberville didn't really have a terrible season last year. 5-7, we would take that. Chizik lasts 2-3 years. Auburn is a football school, and I don't think from the Georgia Assistant turning him down and Charles Barkley making the comments he did why would recruits want to go there, other than to play in the SEC or to play under a defensive coach.
he does not have an offense. he will last two years-he will get beat like a drum with the other teams in the conference-if coach rhoades can poach 5 or 6 players from auburn-chizzlestick will fail miserably against alabama-
