Control the line of scrimmage and no turnovers. If ISU can do that, I think we win by 10.

This is the type of game that has little to no upside and only downside IMO... National players don't respect Cincinnati, so a loss feeds the Big 12 narrative in the national lenses.. A win and it's dismissed as a lowly win over a G5 program that just jumped to P4 football.

Cincinnati is a solid team but being a 2.5 point favorite over a top-15 team is odd. I wonder if there is a bit of an overreaction to their KU victory.
Cincy was surprisingly only a 4.5 dog at KU. Got bet down from 5.5. Vegas is all over Cincy recently.

It's the spot though. Ranked team on the road versus a capable opponent. Also, I think there will be injury news coming out. Strictly going off line movement.

Match ups matter too. ASU was a bad match up for us. Illinois got dog walked by IU and then beat USC.
$#!+ happens! Expect a competitive game. You are never as good or as bad as you think you are.

National perception goes out the window when it comes to conference games. Complete upside at staying undefeated and having 1 more win toward an Arlington appearance.

NVM with the Jontez news... We need to outscore people now

Williams injury became public and the line did not move. MC has a leak in his program because that info was known very early. I think there will be more injury news coming.
I think it's more about Rocco and does he have an injury?

DB's, normally, do not move lines like that. QB's do.

Not saying Rocco is questionable, but something is up more than a DB

He did hit his head hard on the ground last week

Interested to see the match up against coach Veidt and his defense.

Something to appreciate in the Campbell era is his coaching tree, especially in the past few years. Veidt, Scheelhaase, Kempt. I’m sure I’m missing a few as well.

Their coach said the game is a sellout and they're bringing in a ton of recruits. Clearly, we are gonna get their absolute best shot in a very hostile environment. I like the 11am start time, though. Hopefully, we'll come out super focused, get the lead and take the crowd out of the game.

An early start time is the best possible start time for ISU. Get in, take care of business, get out
