Not to get the thread off-track, but I totally disagree with your take on Gable. In all my interactions with him, I found him to be a very humble and friendly person.

The Delta force movies are exactly what you would expect. Chuck going around on special ops and just destroying everyone. In the 80's they were badass. Might have to watch the first one and see if it was really that good or if it was just plain bad. When I was a kid they were totally badass movies.

Crazy part is, without Walker, his career is basically crappy action film after crappy action film. Walker and his round house kicking every back guy in it propelled him to cult hero status and fueled the back half of his career, which more often than not was just playing Chuck Norris.

Regardless of whether the first Delta Force was good or bad, I think we can all agree if we’re forming a commando unit, Lee Marvin and Chuck Norris as CO and XO is a pretty good leadership team
