I'm content with anything better than the ******** we put out last year.If we go winless the rest of the season… you are okay with 3 conference wins? I’m not. Even if it was year one.

I guess I will just say I doubt a single other P6 job opening had TJ very high on their list following last season. I get that Iowa State is "different" (actually I don't think so) but whatever. He's here and smashed expectations early, and has disappointed lately. Snowball's chance in hell he doesn't get at least 4 years to prove if he's capable if not 5, so let's just hope he does get it done long term.TJ got hired in large part because of who he was drinking buddies with rather than for his coaching resume.
Poor guy is out at a concert and has to come home to this. Ah well.
Like TJ is not on the hot seat or anything.definition please?
can he be a little harsh then and ask about adjustments?
what's your magic number for conference wins in year 1?
I would like to see 5. Get at least one on the road and 4 at home. That’s not too much to ask.
Is he at country bro doosh guest loser concert? This thread is superior to that.
I think most had low expectations this year. Most didn’t have a magic conference win number to hit, but most wanted to see the team improve as the year went on. Being in the top 10 on news years day and not winning a single game after Jan 29th is not promising. That’s an epic collapse, that is a result of poor coaching.what's your magic number for conference wins in year 1?
Hoibergs first team was competing every night and improving that year with an entire new team of transfers ready to take over. TJ is going to opposite direction with an extremely underwhelming recruiting class coming in next year and a transfer who hasn't played at the Power 5 level yet. There's plenty of reason to believe this will continue next year.Like TJ is not on the hot seat or anything.
It would be fine to ask about what adjustments need to be made in game and things of that nature.
I’m just saying it’s too early to judge the TJ hire. It takes time to turn the program around. Even Hoiberg’s first year as coach was rough.
Thread title is making me think of Midnight Oil.

He's already been dunking on overreacting idiots on Twitter. I'm sure the Cody Road has been flowing.I hope CW comes home from the concert after a bakers duzzy of Busch Lites and jumps in this thread. Would be hilarious.
Record wise was rough, but we were playing good basketball but falling short in many close games. This has been differentLike TJ is not on the hot seat or anything.

I, for one, would love it even if I would likely disagree about most everything. It would be funny if nothing else.I hope CW comes home from the concert after a bakers duzzy of Busch Lites and jumps in this thread. Would be hilarious.
So two more home wins and you'll be satisfied with TJ in year 1?
He'll probably jump in with one post telling OP to pound sand, add some comments about establishing a culture, remind us of the train wreck of a winless Big 12 slate last year and lock the thread so he has the final say.I hope CW comes home from the concert after a bakers duzzy of Busch Lites and jumps in this thread.
