That would be true. If this was the Des Moines Register or Cedar Rapids Gazette.
This is old school thinking. Traditional newspapers are not the only “media” out there right now. If CF has people in every ISU press conference I don’t see them as all that different than a reporter from some small time Iowa newspaper.

you want to play journalist then be a journalist. This may have been true 10+ years ago, but sites like CF and traditional media outlets are on opposite trajectories

CW is open about his personal relationship with the Otzelbergers. Whatever bias goes with that you just have to discount I guess. But it is also a fact that he took a lot of **** about not calling out Prohm directly also. It's just not his style. What do you expect from a fan site?

Not get credentials for any ISU sporting events. It goes both ways.

I think at the end of the day it is hard to say it is an issue of effort when a guy shooting 30 something% from the field on the year plays 39 minutes. That seems like a coaching issue.

Shhhhh. That’s probably not something we should talk about.

There is a difference between independent regional newspapers being afraid to confront Ferentz and a dedicated fan site asking these questions, don't you think?

I view CW and Jared as journalists. Maybe they are really just fans. Chad is clearly just a fan

Damn some people in this thread need perspective. TJ is in year one of a major rebuild after one of the worst seasons in ISU bball history. Sure, you can criticize him some for not making adjustments and whatnot, but it’s going to take more time to fairly judge him. CW does not need to be overly harsh of TJ at this time.

Anyone who thinks TJ wasn't the right hire needs to drink some water and eat some pretzels. It's year one. We've been incredibly spoiled this season. Yes it's frustrating we've collapsed, but it's kind of a come back to reality moment. We're going to be solid under him in the long run.

If we go winless the rest of the season… you are okay with 3 conference wins? I’m not. Even if it was year one.
