He could be let back on the team and could play for the 2013-14 season. There would be no need to red-shirt. Plus he already red shirted and you have 5 years to complete 4. He would be a RS Sr for the 2013-14 season.
I knew he already red shirted, but I figured a 6th year may be possible, such as a medical redshirt. But I doubt it's ok.
I asked Travis Hines about C Thomas yesterday - whether he is still a '13 recruit, or if going JuCo makes him a '14 recruit. Hines seems to think he's still a '13 player. I'm still confused how this works, but Hines is a professional, so I'll go with what he says.
For the record, I'm indifferent about the staff re-engaging him. I know he's supposed to be an incredible scorer, but Fred would really have to work some magic to keep him focused - it would seem. If we do, great. If we don't - I'm ok.
Even unfocused. The worst that could happen is he doesn't play. I hope he lands him. He is a one and done player.

have you seen bubu play? I think we can just go ahead and cut ties, regardless of how the trial turns out.
