Chill phone carrier

Wife got a new cell phone in February and it is defective.
There are no Apple stores open for immediate transfer of data. Got thtu Verizon and finally got new phone and set up appt to switch everythinng. Got there. And then said can’t do it. Screw Verizon and need new carrier. Any suggestions.

Why don't you just back it up to icloud and then restore to the new phone? Don't need verizon or apple to transfer data if it has been backed up, even if it is an older back up its pretty simple. Switch SIM card and you're done.

What do you need to transfer? Verizon's app does contacts and images well. It is called Content Transfer. https://www.verizon.com/support/content-transfer/

This is where I am leaning...but my wife is a die-hard iPhone person...how well do iPhones work with Fi? I have read that certain functions don't work well when using an iPhone on Fi? True?

I'm still on Sprint's Every Other Word plan. It works great when telemarketers try to call me. I don't even have to pretend like I'm going through a tunnel.

International travel or domestic? Tmobile is the best for international travel, if you can get decent t mobile reception in your area. With the addition of Sprint and the new 600mhz band, tmobile will be vastly improved in iowa over the next year.

What ###### is off was we were on the phone for an hour and then they said they would do it. Set up an appointment and took time off from work to go there, and then nada.lots of time for business calls.

All the time. I don’t want to sit there texting back and forth waiting for replies for 10 minutes when you can have the whole conversation done in 30 seconds and move on. I still prefer phone over emails at work too.

Farmer, for what it is worth, my wife and I have traveled the country from end to end. We have US Cellular and have never had a problem.

We have fi and I love it. Not sure if it works with iPhone though.
