NFL: ***Chicago Bears 2025 Thread***

Definitely possible, but its fair to say 11 wins isn't what it used to be.
Maybe so, but no 11 win team in a 17 game schedule has missed the Playoffs thus far (since 2021).

In the 16-game schedule era (since 1978), only two teams with 11 wins missed the NFL playoffs: the 1985 Denver Broncos and the 2008 New England Patriots.

There also has never been a time where 2 divisions in the same conference that had 3 10 or more win teams like it’s tracking to do this year. Just a weird year. Glad the Bears are actually in the discussion.

If Detroit & Green Bay holds on today I think there is a decent chance Bears could win 11 games and STILL miss the Playoffs. Could be a Winner In, Loser Out final game vs. Detroit.
This did not happen....that's a shame.

Need to win next week against Green Bay at home. Then if you split Detroit and SF you should still be good to hold the #2 home field advantage spot with the tiebreaker against the Eagles head to head.

That almost sounds....plausible.

Bears getting owned by a back up quarterback. No Parsons, but offense is getting nothing. Bears are a year away IMO. Still need a few pieces and Williams still needs to get better in the pocket.

Really not sure what the offense is trying to do tonight. First drive was great and ruined by a cute play.
Ben has been great, and what they've done this year has been amazing in year 1. That said, that was one of the stupidest ******* calls I've ever seen and will be the reason they lose this game if they don't come back.

No ****. You have a great offensive line and their linebacker is out. Don't get cute.

They really haven't made it look like an issue at ANY point.

This is really disappointing.

Man what are they doing. You have to get the Packers the ball back before the two minute warning. Should have kicked a field goal much sooner... probably in the play that lead to the illegal shift.

As much as I like Johnson, the Bears have their heads up their asses tonight. How do you not get that kick off before the two minute warning?

Would it really have made a difference? If they get it right before the 2 minute warning the kickoff would take it to the two minutes warning anyway?
