Reminds of Chris Berman back in the day making score predictions on weekly NFL games. He'd frequently have games like 16-12, 23-19, 25-22. Scores that never happen. It was like they were using a computer generator to predict the score based on averages that season or something, and didn't account for how football scoring actually works.
 
Nobody picked the winner to win by more than 3 points!

Give me Iowa State by 14. 35-21. And it's not that close.

The newness of the coaching staff on the offense for K-State means that they won't yet be in sync. Haven't we always said that we would prefer to meet K-State early in the season than later in the season (even though we have done pretty well late too)?

Based on absolutely nothing but kool aid.

Every single prediction is twenty-something to twenty-something. Weird! I'll go thirty-something to teens, in favor of ISU

The last 5 games have had scores of:

29-21 (8)
42-35 (7)
10-9 (1)
33-20 (13)
45-0 (45)

Yet, every one of the CF pickers has this one as a 3-point game. Maybe they should work for Cyclone-not-so-fanatic. Come on, someone needs to change their pick and go bold with the good guys!

Or maybe they know what they are talking about. But that's no fun.

Best I can think of is KSU gets 1 TD + 5 FGs = 22 points. ISU is trailing 22-17 late, punches in a touchdown to go up 23-22. ISU goes for 2 to make it a 25-22.

A win’s a win, but 6 scoring drives for KSU would be a less than fun way to get there

I think as good as people seem to think KSU defense is, I think ISUs defense is very good as well and has stopped KSU last year. I see ISU by 2 scores, 27-17.

3tds, one with a 2pt conversion, does it as well.

Apparently the CF staff does know what it is talking about . . . at least the ones who picked the good guys by 3. :explode:
