Cheap Sunglasses

Does anyone have anyone have experience with cheap sunglasses, online or brick and mortar? Specifically, I am looking for prescription no line bifocals. 10 years ago, I got a pair at JC Penny for $100 and have never found a deal like that since.

I take it you are talking prescription. In general prescription glasses seem to be fairly cheap at Costco. I would guess they have some sunglasses there. There are also some online options that are pretty cheap if you look around, although I haven't bought any from those so not sure of quality. I have been looking around because I'm getting old, and I'm tired of squinting to see things like clocks.

Goodr has hands down the best cheap sunglasses. I know they do prescription but no idea what the lenses run. The normal glasses are like 30-40 bucks.

I’ve gotten glasses from Zenni for secondary pairs for kids (they go through a lot). Had good luck with them, but taking your own measurements has been the most difficult part.

Tifosi sunglasses are fairly cheap. I have a couple pair, as well as a couple from Goodr. Tifosi does have prescription options starting around $99, I think. Non prescription are in the $25-$45 range, with some much higher, but I buy the cheap ones.

I tried the Shady Rays before Goodr and went through the 3 free pairs on two separate occasions because they kept breaking. I've gotten about 2-3 years of daily wear with each of the two pairs of Goodrs so far. I've got sensitivity to light so I use them every second I'm outside.

I use Goodr. Have two pairs of the hooked on Onyx (I have a giant head) and a pair of the It's All In The Hips for the golf course. Definitely help me see the ball better with the lens color and polarization.

Goodr is the “fun” option of the budget brands, IMO. You can get them in pretty much any color you could ever want, and so cheap you won’t even care much if you break or lose a pair.

I've just been buying whatever cheap knockoff Raybans I can find on Amazon. I either lose them or break them. The last pair's finish started failing where it touched my face

I'm on a pair of Tifosi now, but i've only had them about a year or less.

I've rocked those same BFG Hooked on Onyx for like 5 plus years now. Excellent for us big domed folk. I didn't know they started making sport specific glasses. I'll have to check that out.

The "It's All In The Hips" are BFG's as well. I like using them over my traditional Hooked on Onyx as they aren't as dark colored so it helps in shady parts of the course.

39dollarglasses appears to have tinted no line bifocals in the price range you seek. They have sales/promos of some sort just about continuously. I haven't bought sunglasses from them (usually wear contacts if I will need sunglasses), but have used them for several pairs of single vision over the years and they've generally held up well for the $.
