***CFB Week 13 Games Thread***

No way. They lost by 20+ on their own turf. Alabama has a better shot at the playoff than Ohio State, at this point.
I don’t know if I would go that far saying Bama has a better chance, but you are 100% correct if it’s a pile of 1-loss teams and the Buckeyes are one of them, they should be back of the line. Getting beat by a really good team happens. Getting beat by a really good team at home is cause for concern considering how good you are supposed to be. Getting dismantled in your own house means you should need almost every chaotic thing to happen to get in and that may not be enough.

The Big Ten did them no favors as they have Penn State as there great win in conference and then Notre Dame at the beginning of the season and didn’t look great doing it when the Irish were really struggling to get going.

Look at how Alabama is positioned. If LSU loses to Georgia in the SEC title game, and either TCU or USC loses a game, who's going to move ahead of Bama? Nobody else with a shot has any games left to improve their position.

Side note if Notre Dame can knock off USC and A&M (up 7-0 early) can upset LSU this will be a near perfect weekend for TCU.

The Frogs won big and did something to Iowa State nobody has done all year no matter how bad record wise we are. They embarrassed us and made our defense look like ****.

But every other team they will compete with has lost pretty much (Ohio State big and Clemson) so getting a cushion should they lose next week could help. Not that I think they will really take a 1-loss TCU but if USC especially were to lose that would be huge

I wouldn’t go that far. Bama was lucky to beat Texas and A&M. The whole ‘eye test’ thing should hurt them.

Don’t disagree completely and it looks like that’s how it’s set up. However, I always remind myself how these are truly week to week and the committee does a lot of weird stuff in the final ones. They typically really reward conference titles. Also I don’t think they are that enamored with Bama this year. I do think Ohio State would be in front of them still even though I think Bama is better.

Ryan Day’s seat is getting very warm. Been saying he isn’t the guy and will be surprised is he makes it through 2023 with the defense regressing each year. Biggest win in modern Michigan history. Expecting a recruiting bump after this and if they lock in the two seed they won’t get rolled by Georgia. Harbaugh made it work and I still can’t believe it.

Playoff where SEC gets half the teams makes sense. Playoff where the only two good teams in big ten are half the field is totally idiotic. They only have two hoods teams and win of them dominated the other on the road. Done.

But that’s the entire reason we have a small biased committee now.

I really hate that we couldn't figure out how to beat this KU team.
yeah, for me its somehow losing to Kansas and then to Texas Tech. we would be going to some lame bowl game with those two wins, but at least getting another month of football and practice, etc. out of the 8 games we lost, those two really stick out to me as WTF.

If TCU ends the season with two less than impressive wins I think they’re in trouble. A close win today and I could see the committee dropping them to fifth next week.

Welp that wasn't a problem (unluckily)
