Anyone have a good supplier you get firewood from around Des Moines? I'm not looking for a full cord, just enough to have some bonfires the rest of this summer/fall. I've bought some bundles from HyVee lately--the wood is awful. Doesn't burn well at all, it is packaged as Warren County. Thanks!

Not exactly sure.
My neighbor has a totally obsessive amount of firewood. I don't know if he chops wood as a hobby or what, but he was out there day after day chopping wood, and now has it piled across the entire backside of his house.

I had no idea you were my neighbor!!!! The guy across the street from me has tree trimmers drop off anything they cut down and he doesn't even burn a third of what he has yearly and it keeps growing. He has a wood burner for this shack attachment he put on his house and all winter long our neighborhood has a burning pile smell to it from him.

Instead of posting stuff that has no value to you, here’s my firewood guy. Name is Mike. (515) 988-1673

Not real glamorous but will take care of you immediately and for a fair price. Good luck.

My post has value, if he wants some for free from northern Iowa, myself and my neighbors will distract this one neighbor of mine while he grabs all the free firewood he can take to just get rid of it.
