Yeah....still don't totally understand how that was a thing...even when it was explained to me.honestly it makes more sense than most NFTs did during that craze

I was going to comment on the same line of thinking. When I was young you collected, traded, and tried to get cards signed etc. Now seems companies sell things for high prices with a guarantee of a signature in each pack/box, etc.So when I was a kid, one had to go to the store and buy a pack of cards and try to complete a whole set with help from trading duplicates with friends. I never paid attention to which ones were worth more. Anyways, so this card and the previous card was just produced and bought directly from the factory via an auction? I assume there are CC regular cards in some pack somewhere worth like 15 bucks maybe if you get one ? I don’t feel like digging around for answers. I’ve been out of the trading card interest 40 years ago
And CC signs a crap ton of stuff for the kids.I was going to comment on the same line of thinking. When I was young you collected, traded, and tried to get cards signed etc. Now seems companies sell things for high prices with a guarantee of a signature in each pack/box, etc.
I know anything can be collectible and and it's based on the market, but when I now see players with hundreds/thousands of cards, mini helmets, etc being signed makes it seem less special/cool as what I thought it was when I was a kid
Of all crap the football gods have flung our way, I still contend that that story happened right before we played them in order to throw us a bone.I got a Pole Assassin trading card once.
