Casey's pizza box tabs

Personally, I wish Casey’s, at least the local one, used less frosting. You can’t eat one without having some either fall onto your lap or slime your hand. I like it just on the top side, not all the way so it spills onto the pan.

I'm always up before the family so I'll sneak out and buy them early before they're picked over. The downside there is that they're often still warm and the frosting runs. So I'll toss them in the freezer for an hour or so until everyone wakes up. That doesn't work for early tailgates obviously.

Am I the only one in the state of Iowa that has never bought a pizza from Casey's?

I get the fuel for my vehicle and the fuel for my body from separate locations thank you, would hate to mix the two up!

I've never personally bought pizza from Casey's but I've had it before. It's average at best (this includes the breakfast pizza), I honestly don't get why it's so popular. I do enjoy their breakfast sandwiches though.

$8.99/large. Now you know the attraction. Second reason, how many pizza joints are in towns of 2000 and less?

That's the kicker. In small towns where Casey's thrives, the options for food may just be the local watering hole and Casey's.

Fair enough, Ames has countless pizza places, so Casey's doesn't even come to mind when I'm picking a place.

I can understand that. But Ames has the best pizza options in the state. Casey's doesn't come close to Great Plains or Jeff's, but it is so much better than Papa John's or Pizza Hut.

Used our next to last set of box tabs for a Breakfast Pizza. Eggs, cheese, bacon, and gravy. No extra charge. Felt really good.

If there's one addiction I've ever known, it's Casey's Taco Pizza. Can't explain it.

I would say you are in the minority, but that's ok whatever works for you.

I just looked it up and they still have Paul Revere's Pizza in the C.R. area.

I'd like to have it and see if it was actually that good. We seemed to get it quite often.

I was on campus in the early 90s and they would hand out these coupon books that had a large Home Team pizza for $4 and another coupon for free delivery. A girl I knew with a job on campus printed off sheets of those for us. You had to order from different dorm rooms all the time to stay ahead of them though.

That was awful pizza. The worst I can remember but I bet we ate 40 of them.
