Well, you know you're gonna throw Carp for Game 3, so that he can also go Game 7 on full rest. You can either set Garcia up for 1/5 or 2/6. I'd rather just keep him on normal rest and throw him Game 1.

If it were me, it'd be Garcia, Jackson, Carpenter, Lohse, and repeat if necessary. Everyone will be pitching with normal rest, just get Lohse a bullpen session tomorrow to set that up. Of course, if you're down 3-2 entering Game 6, might have to consider throwing Carp early.

As much as I hate to say it, I'm ecstatic for a Brewers/Cardinals NLCS. Its going to be fun! Its especially nice when so many people were calling the NL Central the worst division in baseball this year. Ill be pulling for the Cardinals (puke), mainly because I don't want to notion the thought of Brewer fans having a World Series accomplishment to add to their reasons of why they are more successful than the Cubs.

Like or respect? Generally speaking, I think that baseball managers are way overrated. But having Tony is probably worth several "W"s a year. I respect him as a manager.

But from what I've seen and read, I don't think I'd like him much.

It was pleasuring to see Morgan drop that diving attempt and then crash into the wall on Pujols' shot. That guy is annoying as sin. The Brew Crew have some freakin hitters on that team, but I can not stand Nyjer Morgan. Braun is ridiculously good tho.

That was a must win and now we need 2 out of 3 at home and I like our chances. Hopefully this game gets Pujols back on track and let's hope the Brewers play like they have all season on the road.

if the cards can take game 3, they have a good chance. the brew crew pitching has hit a wall and the cards are taking advantage. that's the one advantage of having injuries throughout the year, their pitchers have thrown a lot more innings this year that St. Louis. Scoring 18 runs in two games in Miller Field is a good sign.

I like how everyone is a threat in the Birds' lineup. Milwaukee has good hitters, but once they get past Braun and Fielder, the danger drops off considerably.

I think the rotation favors us now. Another shutdown outing by Carp, a well-rested Lohse, and Jaime at home? Advantage Cardinals.

MIL can walk Pujols every at bat rest of this series until Holliday does something! I say move up lance tom night to the 4 spot or even Freese how well hes been hitting. Holiday hasn't proved he can back Pujols this series.

Not sure if anyone else saw it but after the game when they were showing a crowd shot with the guy who had the sign saying "Cards Magic Number = 6", there was a guy with an Iowa State hat in the corner of the shot. Pretty cool
