I thought the original Candyman was scary as hell when I was younger. This is apparently one hell of a scary reboot. I am in.

Early screening Thursday night this week for this. My better half is not a horror fan at all. I can’t believe they agreed to go with me. Reviews trickling out are insanely positive for a horror movie. Some saying not only best horror movie they’ve seen in a long time but it’s THE movie of the year. Can’t wait.
Interesting. I loved the original. Haven’t been particularly interested in the previews I’ve seen on the reboot. Might have to give it a shot on a matinee or something.
Big thumbs up for both of us with this Candyman. It's scary no doubt. But the social commentary is great as well. Great directing as well by Nia Dicosta...some of the shots are crazy good.
