He’s only a junior and I bet Rocco has more game winning drives than any active qb, and you don’t even need to count today even though he led key 4th quarter drives.
Yep . I feel the same where we were favorite, down all game, then Mike Rose did that strip/int to end Snyders career was such a good way to flip the many years of close ones and of course the BS Lazard game. So, yes, this is absolutely earned and feels GREAT!
I love how he did it...coming in all giddy.... "Rob, ask me about..." then at the end "thanks for that question" and gets up still giddy and walks out.

I will never lump a kid based on what family members do outside of them. Athlete or not.
Well, he did complete 70% of his 30 passes today. Not too shabby against a good defense and first game of the year. I wouldn't blame him for today's loss if I was a fan.
Don't get me wrong, he is a good if not great player. Kansas State showed Will Howard (who won a national title) the door so this kid could get on the field ASAP. He was also being discussed as a legit Heisman candidate this preseason. I just don't see it. I would take Rocco over him without even thinking twice about it and that isnt me being a homer.
They don't run him enough imo. Bill Snyder used to run his QB's 15-20 times per game and they were fine.
They need to run him more in designed runs instead of whatever the hell it is they are doing now. Hanging him out to dry like that habitually is going to get him seriously hurt.
Agree. He was really good today considering the conditions. He's not the Heisman contender KState fans make him out to be, but he's really good. He's one of the best we'll face all season
Rocco has some bad moments, misses some easy throws, isn't the most talented QB in the world, but goddamn he makes plays when the game is on the line like no other QB in school history.
Some guys just have an innate ability to never take big hits and it doesnt seem like Avery Johnson has that sort of wiggle. Watch Lamar Jackson play...I swear no one can EVER square him up. If I remember correctly we knocked Avery out of the game late in the 4th quarter last year and he took 3 or 4 really big hits today as well.
