Over cookedSIAP, What is the official word on Bacon's injury?
Nothing official released.SIAP, What is the official word on Bacon's injury?
I think the fact that he still hasn't stuck with a team confirms why he didn't go higher.I was always surprised Hakeem Butler didn't go higher. Maybe he was less freaky than I gave him credit for.
He got that to pull Rodgers.Nor should they. I was shocked when Lazard got his deal for the Jets and got a lot of "dumbs" for mentioning he was overpaid. Happy for him but not a great move for the Jets.
I thought they were good. At half time a couple fans near us were ******** about the lack of running game. At half time we had 7 carries for 35 yards. 7 yards/rush. The running game was fine, we just barely had the ball.Bruns said he was pleased with how the OL played, improved over last year. I'm no expert on such matters so I'll take his word for it. The fact that we played seven guys there presumably means we have some depth, seven guys the coaches are confident in even with a couple guys out.
I thought I had read that Brahmer got dinged in practice last week.Brahmer is supposed to play but he didn't look great Saturday.
That's the rumor.I thought I had read that Brahmer got dinged in practice last week.
I was told yesterday no MCL or ACL tear so was hopeful but I don’t think it was ligament related at all and still really bad.SIAP, What is the official word on Bacon's injury?
I feel like the Packers utilized his blocking skills better. Every time I rewatch that Kempt/Lanning Oklahoma game, seems like he plays a key role in every score.Nor should they. Hakeem isn't going to blow past anybody off the line of scrimmage. He's fast once he hits his stride but NFL is about timing routes and if you're not winning those you're never going to play.
That's kind of my point. He isn't going to create separation early. Not enough acceleration in a phone booth so to speak.I think it's more to do with his route running. He has enough speed given his size but even at Iowa State he wasn't exactly known for his varied route tree.
Hard to make a living out of "Mossing" people at the NFL level.
Nah, that’s a campbellism. The real story is they had to amputate his leg all the way up to just above his hip and he’s currently in ICU in a coma.Kinda sounds like a classic broken ankle situation or severe sprain based on that vague description.
This. It’s like some people don’t understand the real reason we need MacFarland just across the street from all the football facilities.Nah, that’s a campbellism. The real story is they had to amputate his leg all the way up to just above his hip and he’s currently in ICU in a coma.

MCL and meniscus are returnable ones. LCL is also. ACL is the one that basically shuts people out."Could come back later this season" (assuming MC is being straightforward there, who knows) and in the hospital suggests a broken bone to me. If you're in the hospital for knee ligament surgery you aren't coming back within this season.
I think some of those injuries are of the "dinged up" variety.So…. what was going on in the offseason/training camp. This is a crazy amount of injuries before the first game. Especially for expected starters/impact players.
All this is speculation/rumor, but all these guys injured before the first game:
I’m not necessarily saying anything, but just mentioning this is a new strength and conditioning staff.
