What are everyone's thoughts on the next major tournament?

I just saw that Rory wont be defending his title due to his ankle injury. Can Speith go 3 for 3 this year?

Spieth is hard to bet against, though Rory would have been my first choice. It'll probably be someone that comes out of nowhere, as 3 for 3 is incredibly hard.

I'm rooting for Brandt Snedeker simply because I want to be able to turn it on to hear that dude introduce him on the first tee.

Spieth has as good of a shot as anyone, which means he'll still likely lose. There's just too many REALLY good golfers these days.

Hogan won the 1st 3 majors back in the day, but if Spieth were to do it this year, it would be a MUCH bigger accomplishment than Hogan doing it. The competition is a hundred times better nowadays.
