Since Taco Tech is known for their high powered offenses, the ONLY logical choice is the offensive genius of Brain Freerentz. They probably have subsidized housing he can live in too.
Greg McDermott was a proven coach before he arrived in Ames. I never felt like Wells was a going to be a good fit at Tech or in the Big 12.
Yes make it happen. Love to pay back Briles for those beat downs. Bring back your glass canon offense against Heacocks defense. There is a reason why everyone runs it.
what were the circumstances of the leach firing? someone said they fired him for "making a player stand in a dark shed". ???
as i vaguely recall they wanted him gone because he was a difficult personality for the top brass to handle and found a petty reason to let him go. is that right?

the simple fact that there are rumors of firing a coach after two season gives me hope that coaches like cmc may actually want to stick around at the smaller less prestigious universities that reward them. jump ship and head to a place like Michigan and wind up out of a job for not beating OSU before you've even had a chance to make the roster your own. maybe isu isn't such a bad place after all.
Off topic, but when ISU landed McDermott, my dad (a Creighton season-ticket holder since the 80’s) expressed some concern that we had just hired the 3rd best coach in the Missouri Valley. McD has certainly redeemed himself post-ISU, though.
