Yep, they sure don't seem to care much about character given that track record.
It appears as though they spelled "Baylor" backwards on his cap.No way they’d do that with the PR backlash.
I have heard that an unknown fellow named Bart Riles has emerged as the frontrunner

Art Briles is a great coach and needs a chance for redemption. Hope he has learnt his lesson.
And here's his rumored defensive coordinator choice (Dave McCarney):No way they’d do that with the PR backlash.

I'm not really surprised.So... Tech is willing to sell their souls as Baylor has. Guess we can get rid of both schools now.
I have a friend who is a huge Tech guy. Its a strange fanbase. They think they should be a top 5 team, like, all the time. They don't understand why they aren't. It's like they can't recognize the difference between Texas and Texas Tech. So they rationalize it is all the coaches fault, all the time, and they have zero patience. It's like, win 10 games your first year, and every year, is the expectation. He has never expressed anything resembling patience for a guy to get things his way and fix them. They just think the right coach is a magic switch to excellence.
It's not the same as Husker or Longhorn delusion either, not entitlement. It's just more like... a complete lack of patience, like going 10-2 is easier than 6-6. Just very different.
It's just you.Is it just me, or does that look like Burt Reynolds?
It is mind-boggling how many piss-poor takes one single poster can have. Who ARE you???Art Briles is a great coach and needs a chance for redemption. Hope he has learnt his lesson.
Anybody who was wondering whether you’re a hok, this removes all doubt.Art Briles is a great coach and needs a chance for redemption. Hope he has learnt his lesson.
