Bricked.

because he is doesnt absorb contact very well and is easily injured.
That was a great hit by Patton on the 4th down play but Johnson didn't exactly go full bore on such a critical play. Maybe intimidated by Patton flying in but you gotta give up the bod on a play like that. Not saying Johnson is soft but give me Rocco everytime

For the 80 year old people it means you’re constipated. One thing I learned taking my mom to dr visits.
Boy I’ll bet that has caused some confusion. Imagine hearing a doctor tell you your mom is bricked up

I think Avery got his bell rung. On the subsequent replays, you can see his body kinda go limp.

Hanging out downtown Belfast, why?
Let’s just say it’s still a sore subject.

I used to think bricked up meant something like “in the zone” or likes someone’s going hard (lol) or something similar. I got a lot of weird looks over the years…
My college roommate would often ask me if I wanted to 'netflix and chill' not realizing it was a euphomism. Apparently he asked someone else and they had to explain it to him. Sure I could have explained it, but what fun is that.

We used to struggle with UNI and others out of the gate. We had a tough game but played a conference game against a ranked team and won.

Maybe we need conference games to get Campbell excited for first games?
I always felt those close opening games vs. UNI were due to MC not wanting to show anything before the Iowa Game and just being vanilla not being unprepared. Having to open in a meaningful game this year changed that dynamic. I also think it will help ISU be sharper vs. Iowa and help the team all year. Basically, opening against a tough team is better than opening against an FCS cupcake IMO. I suppose time will tell! Just my onion.

The only reason people talk about Avery Johnson so much is because he has long blonde curly hair. If he has a buzz cut, no one talks about him.

Pundits did a very weak analysis of both teams. If K-State is a Big 12 favorite, the so are the Cyclones. They just seemed to talk up K-State so much. Avery Johnson is a talent, but he surprisingly did not run much today.
I don't mind ISU being in the category of "others with an opportunity" for a Big 12 title as opposed to being an overall favorite. When in that position previously it seemed like a lead weight on the team, and I think CMC's natural tendency is to like a little chip on the guy's shoulders. But I do think we will be right there at season's end, it just depends how the chips fall with the tiebreakers. I hate that part, but it is what it is, blame the B1G and tv networks for leading us here.

I honestly don't get why everyone thinks he is so amazing. We've made him look pretty average.
Highly recruited nationally out of high school and media is too lazy/doesn't know how to change tracks once they roll out a hype narrative.
