I think this part is what is confusing people
I was critical but all the facts weren’t told to us until now so now I’m back to thinking it’s great. lol
I wonder if his brother, Drew, will leave Iowa and follow his brother to ISU.
Let's make David Carr the next Hire. Bring him in to coach and train. When ever he is finished wrestling he could take over for Dresser when he is done.
Carr will stay in his role as long as he’s competing for an Olympic spot I believe.
David is excelling at what he’s doing. He’s essentially already a coach for all intents and purposes.
To take over for Dresser as the Head of Womens and Mens wrestling is what I was talking about. Carr would be great for that spot down the road to bring in money for both. Was not talking about the Head coach. Carr can start out as a couch for mens wrestling and once Dresser is done move Carr into that spot once he is finished wrestling.
I think Sammy Brooks will be here for a while so there won’t be room for David
Thats what I was talking about since he is still training make him a coach as well, but he does go out and train at other locations with others so that might be harder as a coach that is training. Would like to see Carr take over for Dresser to head the Women and Mens wrestling down the road. He would be great for NIL and boosters.
I suppose Brooks mullet bring back good memories of @Tigerguy_ mullet days!
I am not sure the Dresser role will be permanent or rehired once he is done. Makes sense right now to help get a brand new program off to a great start. Once Ali and Brent are established it might not be needed as a position to oversee both programs. You can still higher a position to work with high level donors but that would be different and not at the same level/need as Dresser’s current position.
