Yeah, I saw his statement. Pretty risky thing to put out there, because if there is video showing him committing assault then he's caught in a lie.

I should clarify my earlier post - police are only saying that in a search of the home they found cameras connected to a recording device, and that the device showed footage of what appeared to be an assault inside the home. Details like that might matter, because they didn't specify if the video footage came from his security system and they didn't specify who appeared in the video.

I hate that these kinds of cases get made public before a verdict has been passed down. I have a bad habit of jumping to the defense of the accuser in domestic abuse cases. Knowing that so much of it goes unreported, I cheer when abusers get caught. It clouds my judgment when waiting for the evidence, though.
