Uh, I think Notre Dame would disagree?Clemson is a great example of a storied program in a weak conference getting by because of their name. They are nothing like the teams they’ve had the past 8 years, especially on Defense.

That's all I ask too. Fine with the rule as long as they start calling it on the offensive players too.I understand that, but it should be called both ways then. How many offensive players lower their heads. Why aren’t they be protected by the rule?
Dirty play? Did you watch it? The defender was lined up to make a tackle and the ball carrier spins into the defender's helmet.Couldn’t disagree more, it was a dirty play dropping the crown of his helmet and just gave them a chance to get back in this game with Fields hurt. He deserves to be ejected. This wasn‘t one of those awkward plays where the defensive player didn’t have intent on a bad hit, 100% intentional targeting.
Leading with the crown of your helmet leads to very bad things.
Well I guess this is an argumentAnd for the morons who disagree here is the rule.
Targeting and Making Forcible Contact With the Crown of the Helmet
ARTICLE 3. No player shall target and make forcible contact against an opponent with the crown of his helmet. This foul requires that there be at least one indicator of targeting (See Note 1 below). When in question, it is a foul. (Rule 9-6) (A.R. 9-1-3-I)
The rule requires forcible contact against an opponent with the crown of the helmet. It isn’t just that you lower your head. The defender didn’t forcibly contact Fields with his head.
Yeah, I was wondering why I am the only one who can see the obvious holding by the O-Linemissed hold there again
