***Bowl Games Thread***

Will be interesting when Nolan gets back in for the Clemson secondary for the 2nd Half. Aside from that though, Venables' defense is getting abused for all the talk he gets as this amazing defensive coordinator. Fields is balling and the Ohio State o-line is the big key right now.

This has been one of Clemsons weaker defensive teams of the past 7-8 years and tOSU doesn’t have quite what they used to either. Both have strong offenses so should be high scoring on both sides.

If that wasn't a hold by the OSU wide receiver on Field's run I guess I don't know what it is any more.

If Clemson is running Heacock's dime stack they are doing it wrong. OSU receivers getting behind the DB's on the regular so far.

Alabama has to be drooling right now over getting to play the winner of this game.

They always had the talent to belong. To me, the question is did they deserve it considering the number of games other teams played compared to the Buckeyes.

The problem has been and always will be that there are certain teams that have to prove they don’t belong while the other 95% have to prove they do belong. tOSU, ND, Alabama and Clemson are the 5% that start with the expectation they’re in until they make it so hard to keep them in the top 4. It’s not fair but it’s the way of CFB and I don’t see it changing with ESPN and others controlling the narratives.

So is defense optional in the big10 and ACC now? This is going to be a track meet
Other leagues have finally caught up to the B12. No they are trying to learn B12 defenses. Doesnt fit the tired, uninformed narrative about the B12.
