I'll ask again--what is with the trend of letting the mouth guard hang off the mask? Are the players using another mouth guard or did they decide they're too heavy/obstructive too?

So as the phrase opt out is being used every 10 seconds in this game, started wondering how to reduce that trend. Could/should the NCAA set a rule that if a player opts out of a bowl game they are ineligible for pro days on campus? If you quit early, you shouldn't get to use campus facilities to promote yourself to the NFL.
